BAC to Host Exclusive Mono Experience Days for Customers and Friends in 2017
Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) is set to host a range of Mono experience days to give customers and friends an exclusive feel for the bespoke British supercar at stunning locations around the globe.
The Mono is the world’s only road-legal, single-seater supercar that’s as at home tackling a track as it is negotiating traffic in the city, although there’s nothing quite like letting it run wild away from civilisation.
As such, BAC has been busy organising once-in-a-lifetime events for enthusiasts over the course of 2017, starting with a scintillating trip to Sweden in early February.
Armed with three Monos, the BAC team – including co-founder Neill Briggs – headed to the frozen lakes of Åre in the east of the country to put the car through its paces and enjoy three days of drifting fun.
When Neill and brother Ian set about making the Mono, they did so with the vision of sharing their creation with their nearest and dearest and allowing them to sample the very best it has to offer around the world.
Letting the supercar loose on the ice made their dream reality, as clients and friends lived the Mono lifestyle in the most glorious setting and benefitted from expert coaching and tips from BAC professionals.
Such was the success of the inaugural Mono Experience Day that BAC has now set the wheels in motion for the next wave of one-off events at the most sought-after tracks around.
The Mono community will descend on Silverstone Circuit on March 22 initially, before heading to Brands Hatch on April 26. BAC will then take to the Anglesey Coastal Circuit – the scene of its famous McLaren P1 GTR-beating lap time with evo magazine – on May 29, followed by a visit to Donington Park National Circuit to complete to UK stint on August 17.
After experiencing the best of Britain with the best of the British automotive industry, BAC’s attention turns to Europe and the world-famous Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
Mono customers will experience two scintillating days of track action around the Belgian Grand Prix venue on 23-24 October to bring the year to a close and fulfil the Briggs brothers’ dream.
Neill Briggs said: “Our inaugural Mono Experience Day in Sweden was a monumental success and we’re incredibly excited to showcase the Mono lifestyle to more people over the course of the year. We’ve secured the best tracks in Britain and Europe for our next days with the Mono community and can’t wait to get started at Silverstone in March. BAC is very much like a family and we enjoy nothing more than seeing our close friends enjoy the Mono and live out dreams of their own.”
